Self-fusing silicone.
Leak-proof tape for all maintenance, repair and electrical insulation applications.
Can be used for sanitary installations, drains, heating systems, gardening… on all indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Instructions for use :
Turn off the water supply – if necessary.
1- Sand, clean, degrease and dry the surface to be repaired.
2- Cut the tape to the desired length and remove the clear protective paper. Warning: Allow for a minimum of 5 cm on each side of the area to be repaired.
3- Position the tape in front of the area to be repaired. Hold the end of the tape firmly against the surface and wrap around the area to be repaired, stretching the tape as much as possible. First, wrap the tape around itself to make sure it stays securely in place.
4- Then apply in a spiral fashion with a minimum overlap of 50%, keeping the tape stretched. Continue this until you have applied at least 3 layers.
5- Pay particular attention to the ends and ensure maximum contact between the surfaces.
The tape will start to cure immediately. Once applied, the tape cannot be repositioned. For quick, temporary or permanent repairs (wait 24h before use).
If the tape breaks during application, or if you run out of tape, simply continue with another piece.
The second piece will fuse with the first one.
